The Seven Petals Program’s Mission and History

...Connecting Communities to Positive Living through Integrative Wellness.

Founders of Seven Petals Wellness, Inc., Pamela G. Denton, D.C., and Sarah R. Kaczor, Reiki Master and Athletic Coach, met while on their individual healing paths, both personal and professional. Through their ongoing work within themselves and with clients, they had each recognized that there were major pieces of the healing process that were missing from most disciplines. To remedy this situation, they began working together to develop a program that would address all the aspects of healing—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual—while also placing the power to heal in the hands of the client. Today they have evolved into Personal Transformation Guides (PTGs) who work with clients at a deep spiritual level for empowered healing and lasting life shifts.

The SPP was developed over a five-year period of intense personal exploration and growth. Pam and Sarah’s expertise derived from years of supporting the growth and development of healthier lifestyles through private practices in chiropractic, massage, yoga, and Reiki. They worked with countless men, women, and children who were searching for solutions to their most challenging physical, emotional, and spiritual issues. Often, Pam and Sarah noticed that their clients had difficulty developing and maintaining a clear perspective of their quality of life because they had disconnected from a true sense of self. They had become numb to the ways in which their lives were continually influenced by choices and habits they engaged in daily. It became obvious that most of them needed further guidance and support in making positive changes. They required services that supported the body’s natural healing abilities in addition to empowerment to make necessary changes in their lifestyles.

The path to health began with bodywork because most clients came to the program in search of physical solutions to pain, discomfort, or disease. If a client was experiencing back pain, for instance, they needed a physical explanation for the situation, such as “I lifted something too heavy” or “I moved the wrong way.” It was clear, however, that the root cause went far deeper, originating in years of patterning—a concept that generally met with resistance from clients. This was because once they started examining past patterns and behaviors, an array of issues needing attention became apparent. These issues were difficult for clients to delve into because they involved relatives, friends, and ultimately society as a whole. At least eighty percent of the time healing had to begin by addressing the client’s immediate physical pain, which meant that essentially Pam and Sarah became pain relievers—a role that was limiting for them as healers, as well as disempowering for the client. Thus they set out to create a program to empower people to become their own solution to health.

Today, the SPP principles govern all work and activities at SPP centers, from one-on-one healing to the training of the spa receptionists. People still approach the SPP primarily for release from pain or discomfort, but they now leave with a sense of empowerment. They no longer hold the practitioner accountable for their health, instead taking responsibility for decisions affecting their well-being. They do this by validating the steps they are taking without judging themselves for what they have or have not done. The SPP then becomes the guide for participation in the individual and global community’s life story of healing. The program allows healers to share the truth about healing and help create the formula for resolution while also attending to the health of the spirit. SPP healers see all aspects of life as opportunities for deepening connection with spirit. All SPP participants are considered leaders with the potential for empowerment—the knowledge that we are the solutions to our own health.
