Co-Owner of Seven Petals Wellness, Inc. and and co-founder of the Seven Petals Program™, Sarah has realized her life-long dreams of owning an earth-friendly and globally conscious business that serves the enlightenment of humankind.
"When I was a child, I knew that I wanted to help people be healthy and happy.
I thought to be a doctor, but my experiences led me in another direction. I was
exploring concepts that deepened my sensitivites to the wholistic needs of the community. I found that breath, movement and self-love were the keys to health and happiness. Seven Petals is where I share, teach and coach those that come seeking these keys for trasformation."

Sarah is an integrative healing specialist trained in Reiki, Yoga and Reflexology. She is the co-founder of the Seven Petals Program™, Reiki Release Technique™, and co-author of
Be, Heal, Live: Shift from Crisis to Clarity.
Reiki Master
Sarah studied and received attunements in Reiki with Reiki Masters, Eric and Kelly Burge of Boulder, CO. There, she worked daily with her masters and began to practice and teach Reiki professionally. Within months of her Master Attunement, Sarah received the directive from Spirit to bring the healing back home to Central New York. She followed the direction which led her to meet business and healing partner, Dr. Pamela Denton. Together, these Reiki Masters formulated a business plan to bring Reiki and energy medicine into the forefront of personal development and wellness care. Sarah has attuned and taught many Reiki Masters throughout her career.
"I love to do the hands-on work. I own my share of miraculous healing stories and feel that it is my honor to have participated in these events. Though, teaching Reiki is truly my passion. I believe that if everyone in the world were, at least, attuned to Reiki I, then health and happiness would replace the statistics of dis-ease and crisis, and the world, as we know it, would transform for the better."
Yoga Teacher and Instructor
Sarah received her certification for Yoga Instruction from the Yoga Institute of Houston in 2003 - a formality that strengthened her conviction of Yoga as an essential part of a happy and healthy lifestyle. As an aggressive young athlete, Sarah always practiced flexibility, strength and breath, however, a lack in yogic mindfulness limited her potential. By her early twenties, Sarah suffered from chronic and intense pain in her back and knees due to injuries. However, this crisis became a turning point for her as she looked deeper into the Yoga tradition for solutions. As she completely rehabilitated her body, she began to cover yoga classes for a pregnant Dr. Denton - teaching one small class in Rome, NY. Soon, the team added more classes and their local following grew. As time passed, Sarah completed her formal certification and then with continuing and relentless study, she planned and outlined two yoga programs - the first is a posture study curriculum that empowers students to bring yoga home therapeutically and a Yoga instructor's training program for Seven Petals. With partner, Dr. Denton, Sarah saw that her instructor's program met the requirements as outlined by the Yoga Alliance and together, they implemented their programs with great success. Today, Sarah still teaches yoga classes at the Zen Fitness Center and leads Yoga workshops and retreats.
"Yoga is a tool for everyone. Moving feels so good and it's one of the things we miss most in old age. Yoga teaches us mindful movement, and I know first hand that being mindful in one's movement is paramount to avoiding injury. Our bodies also carry ancient and profound intelligence. Yoga teaches us how to tune into that knowledge and we can truly become our own healers."
Positive Transformation Coach
For Sarah, coaching came naturally, and she flowed seamlessly from the role of a student into the coach. She started with athletic coaching and integrated her knowledge of athletic coaching with alternative healing. With partner, Pamela Denton, Sarah founded Positive Transformation Coaching including its methods, tools and training protocol. As a PTC, Sarah devotes her time to the personal and spiritual development of her clients and students. She specializes in the concepts of "Being Real" and "Mindfulness." Her approach is in guiding clients to apply consistent and subtle shifts in perceptions and behaviors to achieve personal and professional goals. She is especially excited to work with adolescents and groups in the corporate setting.
"Socially, we have to change to overcome the crises in fuel, food and environment
that are surfacing right now. This time, social change must come from the individuals
- so now becomes a time for personal transformation. We must work together to
create a more positive world for ourselves, our children and the future generations.
Whether my clients are self-motivated or motivated by the love they feel for
their families, my job is to help them discover their strengths and to express
their leadership from a mindful, loving and powerful platform. What is disempowering
you from living a good life that makes the world, your world a better place? Sickness?
Self-doubt? Fear? No inspiration or lack of motivation? Make a change, and
it starts with your first appointment."
